There’s a new gelding in town!
Everyone, meet Richy, the newest member of the A Horse Tale Rescue herd.
From the moment Richy arrived on June 14, 2026, the 27-year-old Dutch warmblood has shown us exactly who he is - a horse full of personality, charm, and power. He’s the kind of gelding that makes you smile the second you meet him, and we already know he’s going to steal plenty of hearts.
Once again, we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with the SPCA, and we are so grateful for the incredible work they do. Richy came into their care after being surrendered by an owner who still very much loves him and wanted the very best for his future!
Now that he’s settling into rescue life, Richy is officially looking for sponsors! Sponsorship helps provide his feed, veterinary care, farrier visits, and everything he needs as he begins this new chapter.
