Happy Retirement, Urbain!
Congratulations to the newest retiree from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal - SPVM Cavalry! After 10 years of serving and protecting the streets of Montreal, the 18-year-old Canadian horse is hanging up his horseshoes.
As a rescue that has been a retirement haven for four SPVM cavalry veterans, this news fills our hearts with joy. Here’s a throwback picture of Urbain himself taken in 2024 by an AHT volunteer, as well as the SPVM retirees Patriote (RIP), Sunny, Goliath, and Sheriff alumni, who call A Horse Tale home and who know exactly what that retired life is all about.
Thank you for your dedicated service, Urbain. Welcome to the relaxed life, big guy!
