A few weeks ago, our AHT Experience Program hosted The Teapot! It was a day filled with shared smiles, gentle moments, and so much heart.
Just like horses, humans are naturally herd animals. We flourish when we are surrounded by a supportive community, which is exactly why this visit was such a perfect blend.
The Teapot 50+ Centre has spent 50 years fostering connection and a true sense of belonging in Lachine. Looking at our two organizations, we share a beautiful common ground rooted in simple kindness:
Safe Sanctuaries: Providing a gentle space for those who need comfort and safety.
A Warm Welcome: Bringing individuals together to ensure everyone stays connected, because belonging to the herd is our cup of tea.
Gentle Care: Nurturing the well-being and happiness of every soul, whether they have two legs or four, allowing everyone to steep in a calm environment.
We “herd” it loud and clear during their visit: meaningful connection makes life sweeter! Seeing the quiet joy on our visitors' faces as they spent time with our rescue horses reminded us of the magic that happens when communities come together.
