On Saturday, August 16, A Horse Tale will be raffling off two beautiful, commissioned paintings by local artist Amélie Sutter. The framed 8x10 portraits were inspired by pictures taken by AHT members.

Jilly is a sweet 13-year-old Percheron mare who joined AHT in February after working as a calèche horse in Ottawa and Montreal.
Patriote was a special 17-year-old Canadian who joined AHT in February 2022 after retiring from the Montreal SPVM cavalry unit. He died on April 1 due to the growth of an inoperable tumor in his nasal cavity.
