Meet the Star: Jilly
Jilly is a gorgeous Percheron with a powerful past and a gentle heart. Before finding sanctuary with us, she spent her days working hard as a calèche (carriage) horse on the cobblestone streets of Montreal and Ottawa. Today, she holds a very special title: she is currently A Horse Tale’s youngest rescue. She is also our only Percheron, at the moment! Watching her transition and trust in A Horse Tale has been pure magic.
Meet the Artist: Izzy Bee Art
This one-of-a-kind prize was created and generously donated by Izzy Bee Art, a truly talented local artist who also happens to be a dedicated A Horse Tale volunteer! Izzy has poured hours, immense skill, and true passion into weaving Jilly’s spirit directly into this custom "Tree of Life" thread art piece. It is a magnificent celebration of life, growth, and the beautiful second chances our horses receive.
